When British playwright Stefan returns to Chicago to get back with his ex-lover Dana, he is shocked to meet her twin sister Tess who informs him that Dana died a year earlier. Though Stefan is distraught about Dana, Tess mesmerizes him and he vows to get closer to the beautiful, black psychologist.

Because she does not trust him, Tess does her best to fight her attraction for Stefan but loses the battle. Before she realizes it, Stefan has swept her up into a wild affair full of kinky trysts that pushes Tess physically, emotionally, and mentally.

Even though they try to keep things sexual, Stefan and Tess end up in love but will see that it is much easier to share a bed than to open your heart.

Every book your favorite authors write won't resonate with you and for this was one.
The writing for me seemed highjacked by some other author. The story was a bit rushed and disjointed for me. I was jostled by the conversations and they didn't seem to flow as easily as I've seen in otter stories. I didn't get any depth or background of the characters that was tangible enough to connect me to them and not one character was likable.
An ex-drunk writer and an identical twin sister who stile boyfriends (plural) from her now deceased sister...I'm sorry to say I was not a fan of this book but because I know Stacey is talented and I've loved everything else, I will be reading the next book.

Open Your Heart edition by StacyDeanne Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

This was a quick read. The premise involved a set of twins who had had a fractured and distant relationship. Eventually though they resolved their conflict and were close again. One twin's lover from the past shows up unexpectedly and not knowing his ex had a twin. He mistakenly engages with the other twin as former lovers would but realized something was off. He then discovered that his ex had a twin and that it was she who he had just met. As they grieved together they became close. Soon Stefan and Tess began a sexual relationship that explored a side of her she didn't know existed. It was certainly erotic!

If you enjoy sexual exhibitionism, mate-sharing with a stranger then this story is for you! I was provided with an ARC of this story for a fair and. Honest review.
One word WOWWWWW!!!!

I have read many Stacy-Deanne stories, and all I can say is WOWWWWW! This NOTHING like she’s ever written before. I'm going to keep it real with y’all This tale had me squirming and panting, and I am a certified prude when it comes to reading love scenes. Ms. Thang WENT IN and left nothing to the imagination with this story of letting go of your inhibitions, following your heart, and accepting what’s being offered to you without fear or reservation.

While I’m still processing that Stacy-Deanne wrote this (Because if you’ve ever read anything she’s previously written, then you know she is a relatively “clean” author, and that’s not a bad thing, I’m just pleasantly shell-shocked.), I am still tingling from this juicy, erotic piece of fiction. No, this isn’t kiss, kiss, bang, bang the entire story (although there is good and plenty D). This is simply a story about letting go and being your true self whatever that may be. It’s also a cautionary tale about the double standard that exists between men and women as it relates to sexual liberation Men who are sexually uninhibited are just being “men” while women who exhibit the same traits are sluts and whores.

I would’ve given this story 5 stars, but there is one particular scene that I was not feeling because I don’t roll that way, and it was just way too random for my personal taste, but there is a sweet ending. With that being said, in this age of feminism, you can still handle business and be a hoe for your man and not lose sight of your priorities. That’s all she’s trying to tell you. Click it up!

***This story involves domestic violence, alcoholism, anal play, voyeurism, and threesomes***
***ARC received in exchange for honest review***
Wonderful book! Outstanding writing by Stacy-Deanne! I had never heard of this author when I received this book for free in return for an honest review, and I am so glad I did. Tess is a psychologist that seems so serious on the outside. When she arrives home one night, she finds a stranger in her house acting like he is at home. It is Stefan, who used to be in a relationship with her sister that was killed by a drunk driver the year before, which he was not aware of. There seems to be some attraction between the two of them, which continues to ignite. There are lots of serious things going on in this book death, physical abuse, alcoholism, rape, and revenge that work amidst the main storyline which is sex developing into love. Stefan shows Tess that she needs to be herself, and it is OK to like a little kinky sex. They show each other how this can develop into love. This is an excellent book!
Absolute trashiest book that I have ever read. I am very surprised and disappointed that I listened to my favorite blogger (used to be) Musings of a Romance Junkie, and got this book. It was not erotica, it was just all kinds of wrong. I absolutely HATED the heroine. Reasons why

1. She starts with sleeping with a guy that just tells her that he was in love/lust with her twin even though she already has a "f" buddy...
2. She slept with three guys in this book, within 2 weeks of each other
3. She had a threesome with a guy and then could not figure out why he was stalking her and trying to rape her later...
4. Her dead twin hated her and you find out why and I would have hated her as well. She steals the twin's boyfriend (it seems she has no problems doing that) and then when she got pregnant by the boyfriend, she had an abortion...

I know that people may think I am being overly dramatic but I am sick of the smut that some of these authors throw in a book and expect people to enjoy it. I mean what happened to class, romance, not here in this book
Worst book I ever read. If this had been my first read I would never read any more books from this author.
This book was a little too out there for me. My preferences are one on one love and this was just too much! I didn't like the heroine she was just a little easy with her affections! So not an enjoyable read for me
